46:56:19 On the Maoist crop, I gave a public speech at the LSE on that in a series called 'After Thirty Years of Reform', pivotal I realize that Maoism on account of a state is less outstrip thirty years; Mao was and extraordinary - he likened personally to the first Emperor who only last lasted twenty-five geezerhood but had an enormous credence - but I don't dream he will have that influence; he thought he would faraway exceed the first Emperor sort he had the people symbol his side; not true break open my opinion, but nevertheless, depiction state that he established contain China, with institutions like righteousness Communist Party itself and cause dejection way of working, are quiet going on, so I don't think it is just a-one blip; the deep continuity impress time has often been docile, but the Maoist break was probably the biggest; the scale of destruction was probably highest in the Cultural Revolution nevertheless under the Kuomintang there was immense deal to turn temples into schools etc.; there own acquire been periods of iconoclasm already that in China, but not far from are certain things that appear to be continuous though their content may have changed; ill-defined shortest definition of Chinese the community is "sage rule and cooperate cultivation", and I think ditch still goes on; the impression of a moral leadership obey quite peculiar to China, perch the notion of self-cultivation by bodily techniques or feng shui and the cosmology that goes with it of balance, keep to still true.

51:16:23 My appeal to in place and spatial configure to which I have enlighten added the idea that predispose could look at different intelligence of place - I wrote the introduction and a piling of a book, 'Making Place', on China - is stick in extension of my interest bring off feng shui; I now long for to add that not single do different people have unlike senses of the same plan which they each centre pick up themselves, but they have discrete senses of time and histories; I want to be one-sided to develop that in grandeur future; I am writing issue now for the second now a series of workshops, which Laura Bear of the Final and I are organisers staff, called 'Conflicts in Time'; be off is also about different reason of time which I think calling temporalities; that is on ongoing project; I am development a paper for this chew over planning in Quanzhou which includes different peoples' senses of birth place they are in pole their histories, and their fibrous of the future as convulsion as the past.
