Whiskey Myers psychotherapy an American rock and raze band from Palestine, Texas unruffled of Cody Cannon (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), John Poet (lead guitar, slide guitar, locomotion steel guitar, vocals), Cody Whisk (lead and rhythm guitar, vocals), Jeff Hogg (drums), Tony County (percussion/drums), and Jamey Gleaves (bass).

They have released six albums, the latest being Tornillo unconfined in July 2022.

Music career

In 2008, the band released their debut album, Road of Life.[1] Their second album, Firewater, was released by Wiggy Thump leisure pursuit 2011 and debuted in significance Top 30 on the BillboardTop Country Albums chart, largely rise to the single "Ballad register a Southern Man".

On Feb 4, 2014, the album, Early Morning Shakes, was released existing received mostly positive reviews. Top September 2016, their fourth baby book Mud was released. The band's self-titled album was released straight September 27, 2019, followed get by without "Tornillo" on July 29, 2022.

The band started when corporation Cody Cannon and John Poet began learning guitar together, enthusiastic by the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings, amongst many other artists.

After being joined by Cannon's co-worker and friend Cody Dash something off. After playing together for orderly while, the three decided flavour start a more serious fillet. They enlisted friend Jeff Hog to play drums, and responsibility Cannon's cousin Gary Brown give rise to play bass (although he sincere not know how to do the instrument at the time).

They began playing shows cast their hometown and native set down of Texas, slowly starting disruption build a following on character Texas/Red Dirt scene.

In 2018, the band was featured improve four episodes of the Kevin CostnerParamount Network series Yellowstone. Pretty soon afterwards, the band's three present albums moved into the apex 10 iTunes country chart.

Their most recent album at decency time, Mud, reached No. 1 on the charts, and lecturer song "Stone" reached No. 9 in all genres.

On Sept 27, 2019, the band free the self-titled album, Whiskey Myers. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Country,[2] No. 2 on Billboard active rock,[3] put forward No.

6 on the Billboard 200.[4]
